About Proactive Admin Services

Proactive Admin Services was founded in 2007 by Rachel Reeves, offering virtual administrative and marketing support services to speakers, authors and business entrepreneurs. This dynamic virtual assistant service is the outcome of her desire to help other business entrepreneurs like herself, with the flexibility of a home-based office.

Rachel has always loved to read and write in her spare time. Being that she has often considered becoming an author herself, Rachel has chosen to bring this interest to the fore by becoming an Author’s Virtual Assistant.

More recently, Rachel has started providing Virtual Assistance to Speakers. She has really enjoyed learning these specialised skills and meeting new people who are speakers. Now she enjoys helping them reach new heights in their career or business.

Rachel understands the needs of small business owners. She will further develop her in-depth knowledge of business, marketing and project management – putting this to use everyday in her own business and for her clients as well.

Empowered with her passion to help others, Rachel seeks to relieve business owners of those tasks that can’t be achieved without extra support.

Proactive Admin Services aims to help Speakers and Authors establish and grow their business. The virtual assistance we provide helps business owners have more time to do the work that they love, and help their business reach its full potential.

Professional Experience

“While I was Chairman of St Marks Lutheran Church, Mount Barker Rachel was our Treasurer. She took over the position after the previous Treasurer resigned and left many matters attended. Rachel was very diligent in getting the financials in order. She was always prompt with banking of monies, payment of accounts and reconciliation of bank records.

In my dealings with Rachel I always found her to be courteous, efficient and capable of handling all aspects of this position. I am confident she would be capable handling any clerical matters she attempted.”

Michael Pfeiffer, Sales Manager – Raine & Horne

Rachel boasts over twelve years experience in administrative support, executive support and financial services.

Rachel’s interest in the admin industry started back in highschool where she became the secretary to the local youth group and also developed her typing speed beyond all other students at her school.

In various roles within government Rachel was expected to facilitate sometimes quite large meetings, seminars and workshops from start to finish. She also is an experienced minute taker and transcriptionist. More recently Rachel has gained experience and a keen interest in social media marketing, preparation of e-zines, research and support to authors, research and support for speakers.

A bit about Rachel Reeves

“I have had the pleasure of Rachel Reeves assisting me with many administrative tasks over the last two years. Without exception Rachel has always met a deadline for a task, and the standard of work she produces always exceeds my somewhat high expectations! Rachel is one of the most professional, likeable and high performing virtual assistants I have worked with in this industry and time and again I go back to Rachel as I know I can rely on her to provide the kind of support that allows me to have absolute peace of mind in knowing the task will be done on time and to an extremely high standard.”

Claire Dening, Clerical On Call

Rachel was born in South Australia and lived there until 2006, when her family moved to Brisbane, Queensland for work reasons. Rachel has a very supportive husband and is also truly blessed with two children.

It’s not often that Rachel has quiet time, but when she does she loves to read business and personal development books or head to a coffee shop with an adjoined playground for the kids. She shares a common interest with her husband in her love for badminton, tennis and cooking.
